The espresso macchiato or caffè macchiato (stained) is the typical cut coffee from Italy, consisting of an espresso topped with a small portion of hot foamed milk. The name “macchiato”, which means spotted in Italian, refers to milk and was the way the waiters had to make the command to the barista and differentiate it from espresso.
- 100 ml cup
- 40 ml. de espresso
- Hot foamed milk
- Place the cup under the milk frother
- Thicken the milk directly on the cup by pressing a button
- Bring the cup under the coffee dispenser and prepare an espresso
